Palisade is Colorado's little wine country secret.  This has become an annual mother daughter trip for us every August because every time we go back, there is a new winery, a new peach grove and a new lavender farm to visit. The best part is the riding the winery byway by bike and stop for a wine tasting and Charcuterie at Maison La Belle Vie winery.  We have our usual route, but try a new one every year we go back.  If a visit in June or July is calling you to the western slope, be sure to visit one of the many lavender farms for frangrance to last throughout the rest of the year.
